Our Dog Mentor
The Dog Mentor Programme has been implemented in over 550 schools all over the UK with over 1400 education professionals having been trained. More importantly, there are now more than 650 Dog Mentor dogs working in schools every day. The Dog Mentor is a full end-to-end affiliation and accreditation programme that enables schools to achieve the most amazing impact across the whole of the school community, while always making sure that the welfare of the school dog is looked after at all times.
Betty joined us in school in January 2024 and has already passed her bronze and silver assessments through the Dog Mentor programme. She will be working towards her gold certificate, with the help of the children, and is a great asset and support to us all.
