Your child's well-being is a key focus of our work at Ingham. Throughout your child's time at Ingham Primary School we seek to build their skills in coping with the different challenges that life can bring for us all.

  • How to look after your mental health - Lots of practical ideas of things you can do to support your child with their mental health.
  • For Younger Children - Resilience - Everyday life is full of challenges big and small! When you give children the tools to overcome obstacles, you help them learn and grow.

  • Resilience Ladder - This resource is designed to be used with individual children to help them to highlight a goal and break it down into smaller achievable steps, that they identify themselves

  • Resilience Game - This game explores common scenarios that children may encounter in their day-to-day life at home, or at school.

  • Tools for Managing Emotions - These tools are designed to help children understand and manage their emotions and feelings, and stay calm and in control

  • ChildLine's Toolbox - As well as front line support, ChildLine also offer a range of tools to help children with anxiety and well-being

 

  • Creative Education's Simple Self-Soothe Strategies - Sign up for free to access. This course walks you through a range of practical strategies that can be used by adults or children in order to create a sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Each strategy stands alone, though there is huge benefit to learning a range of strategies for use in different situations.
